Results of a Statistical Study of bicyclists

Data observed on Saturday, July 18, 1998.

Data gathered:
Bicyclists
 with helmet without helmet (-Missed)
(in U*) (not in U*) (not in U*) (In U*)
   13 7 14 0 (!)** (3)

* "U" means "uniform", or the standard special-fabric skin-tight clothing designed specifically for heavy, sweaty bicycle use.
** - This (0) was out of the 37 first observed. Being tired of noting down data, I however continued casually taking not & counting up to 52 or so... and among those 38-52, one bicyclist came along who was both 'in uniform' and without helmet... which shows that there is the occasional oddball out there, for sure.

- So, 'What do these statistics signify?' It depends upon interpretation, largely.   ...except perhaps for the note, that those who can afford or bother to wear special fabric uniforms while bicycling, almost always wear helmets too...

(...and this stuff about wearing helmets reminds me of the famous oversight of Bowman in the movie '2001'... but I always was a chronic joker...)
