FINALLY - FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN'T VISITED BEFORE ... Hello and welcome to my Home Page
I am an aviation enthusiast (aka spotter aka wagger)who got interested in the subject some 40
years ago (yes - I AM old). My first interest was at LAP (aka Heathrow) and Northolt which I
visited on my bicycle as a teenager as well as the famous (infamous) Croydon airport.
(I was there for the closing - sad day).
I was born at the end of World War II in a blitzed London and I can only assume the hordes
of aircraft flying over left a lasting impression in my brain.I moved to the USA in 1984
(my subliminal motivation to be near Davis-Monthan, I think) and I am now a native. "Dad,
you sound like a bloody American", as my daughter says.
I have lived in London (Wimbledon),Los Angeles,San Francisco, Reno and Atlanta and ALWAYS
continued my fascination with Military Aircraft. I spent many years editing a column with
"Air Britain" and I am now an avid fan and subscriber to "Military Aviation Review"
My interest is Military Aviation as you will gather from this site, but don't take my word
for it, have a look around, and PLEASE, send me your comments.
