The hardest thing to know
Is that I can love but no one loves me back.
The hardest thing to know is that
I can pour my heart and soul out to someone
and they act as if it means nothing.
The hardest thing to know is that
I can care about people and give my all to everyone else
and I know I won't get anything in return.
I know that the hardest thing to know is that
No one who you love will love you back.
But maybe I pray that one day the person I love will love me back.
My Secret Hope
My secret hope is that love will find its way to me.
That the person I love the most will love me back.
My secret hope is that after all my heart has put me through,
it will let me love one person long enough to show them how much I care.
My secret hope is that I will get back as much love, support,
and compassion as I gave out to my friends and family.

They Say
They say there are only two types of love.
Love for the lucky and love for the strong.
I am not lucky nor am I strong.
But I do love and I do know that eventually someone will love me.
All the other person needs to know is that I love them
and they will tell me they love me back.

You wanting me as much as I want you.
What should have been was us laughing and joking around have fun together.
What should have been was "us" in general.
