Title: Running Scared

The Summer made a creeping exit, as the Fall stuck out its chest and blew a chill over the land, as it came fully awoke out of hibernation. The trees acknowledged Falls presence by beginning to change the color of their leaves, in preparation for shedding their Summer clothes.

The days became grouchy and short. Insects and other lives of warmth hurried to finish their winter homes, as all dimensions which succuum to the brisk of the Fall's touch, which warns them to make way not to be caught off guard by Winter's first knockout punch thrown to eliminate Fall's existence.

And we, we chug along, never changing our routine. Always rushing head first in to the unknown. Always afraid, even when looking back to yesterday; fearing our wrongs will reach out and grab us; swallowing us up as we swallowed up those who crossed our path in the days of our Spring.

Title: The Tender One

What is the memory here today, of the husband, the father, the grandfather, the friend, the tender One? This is a sacred memory to those who have seen his light; in his words, his laughter, and constant reminder that three powers will survive, . . .faith, hope, and love. However, the memory was a sanctifying experience to those whose lights were lit by the tender One, and felt their Spirits expand as His Spirit lifted them to understand the love of the Father. The tender One has touched me, and in touching me, I have been blessed to touch, because of God's expression through this tender One, His will of Life, and the ones he has loved. This has made me realize we are all tied together in the single garment of destiny; caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, and whatever affects one directly affect all indirectly.

Years ago J. Dunne caught this truth, and in graphic terms placed it before the world for all to grasp in the poem "No Man Is An Island entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main." And towards the end he goes on to say; "any man's death diminishes me because I am involved in mankind: therefore never send for whom the bells tolls, it tolls for thee."

The tender One's memory has left, in my consciousness, and I hope in all who were priviliged to know him, that we are responsible to let our lights shine out of darkness.

Title: WHAT MARK WILL YOU LEAVE?

In comparing the man born of a woman to the infinity of what has been; what shall be, and what is now, I find man is only a wink of memory. And the trail he leaves behind is a continuance of the trail others, who have refused to believe it is their responsibility not to recycle their steps of humanism, with hope that those who come behind them will not be entrapped in the continuing ways of man.

We are remembered, not as who we are, we are remembered by the memories we have imprinted in the minds of others. And although we acted out the role which placed those memories upon other's minds, those memories do not depict who we truly are, and have always been.

Those memories remembered were our protective clothing, which we wore to cover our tenderness; and although outwardly we may not have displayed our tenderness, and may not do so now, we realized we could not. If we had, or shall now reveal our true selves to the world, we knew that as the world crucified the Son of Man two thousand years ago, it would, today, crucify us if we did not take the tenderness of us; our true Self, the Son given down to Egypt, and keep it out of harms way.

One day, though, out of the few: "many are called, but few chosen," when that tender One is ready ["travailed in birth again, till Christ was formed in Him"], He will come up out of Egypt to find the waters of Jordan, where He will be baptized, in death, to the Son of Man.

Now the mission for this One is to go into the world; to see if He is truly sanctified in the "word of his power." Should sanctification be His worth, He is no longer lead by the Spirit, He will come forth "in the power of the Spirit."

His footsteps, therefrom, leave a trail of grace, mercy, healing, and the love of God upon all He touches, and who touch Him. So today I ask you, what kind of trail have you left? Have you stopped passing the buck? Have you realized your mortality "must be swallowed up in life," to "Keep your light shining" so "God will put it where it can be seen?"

Title: Where Does It Begin?

In the womb we became consciously aware, But not to the cords of memory. The pain, the joy, the abuse, the love all absorbed which we bear, Are the pains and pleasures we shall touch unceasingly. Backwards we come into the world starting this human life to be, Selfish, arrogant, independent thinkers that's what makes us believe we are free.

Developing feelings we begin; naught will stand in our way, If anything is haphazard, it's not so with us we say.

The years after infancy are the telling ones, For they define our dispositions, and how our lives are done, For here our discipline is decided, as our responsibility, For the learning in these years dictates our thoughts eternally.

These are the years which our minds comprehend, Should disaster, or confusion strike early, so will our lives bend, As to whether God is our Father, and we are His kin, Or if satan is our nemesis, or he is our friend.

So " train up a child in the [righteous] way he should go," For you plant the seeds of what you shall sow. And the tears and laughter, yours to share, Yet the consequence of the heartaches and aloneness are only yours to bear.

Title: The Lord's Children

Have you heard of Marilyn Manson? Well he was a Christian in his younger days. He turned to worldly fun, because He wasn't accepted by some.

The Lord says, "Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me," or like Marilyn Manson he'll turn out to be.

You must understand that when the church closes the door, Through our children's eyes, the world offers more.

When we the church cause our children to reject Christ, we, the Church, will pay the ultimate price.

Title: Visions of Illusions...

I am an enchanted princess dressed in green, I can be invisible or I can be seen.

I can eat and apple and it remain whole, and it's flavor will enter your very soul.

This is my world-my mind- where I can walk in illusion and through time.

AWEEE, walking through a forest, hear a talking tree, smile, no way to escape except through me, I am the keeper who holds the key.

A beautiful rose, put it under your nose, savor the essence from your head to your toes.

You can dream dreams and a million more, whatever you want, that's what "mind" is for.

Was this vision pure, or was it a lure? For only you can be sure!

Title: Master Your Mind

On many a journey, one has found that mind can be very deceiving, To hold onto the Divine plan, it takes discipline and believing...

We are the masters of our mind; everything in this universe, every thought of mankind is intertwined...

We have been told; "there is nothing new under the sun," in order to live a God life, our old thinking must be undone...

Resist 'not' evil, we are told, strange but true, If you resist thoughts, they will not flow through...

If you will hold onto them, not letting go, soon they will reach a higher plateau...

They will destroy, cause despair, even cause rejection, in doing so, you will show others your true reflection...

Every thought betrays you, whatever you do, your thoughts are an image of you...

Don't fall into temptations of human desire, If one does, they will not reach any higher...

Stay centered on the Divine plan, the ultimate goal, then you will concur every creature's soul...

You must master your mind, only three things to require: to love, show mercy, and a strong desire...

Title:Feed My Sheep

Behold! The feast of feasts for all who come,

As tables set for those who choose to dine;

Rejoice! For those with vision more than some,

That all are called and chosen yet to shine.

Within is all required to serve my fold,

For with the whole to feed, the greater yet,

Forget thyself, desire not, yet behold!

Collect your confidence and leave regret,

Reward awaits beyond your mind's delight,

Come forth all mighty mortals to thee serve,

Adventure calls as glory shines her light;

Unknown before as truth untold, superb.

Physician heal thyself and feed my sheep;

For all partaking of the feast of feasts.

Title: She Must Be God

Climbing the mountains

Sailing the seas

Traversing the flat lands

In search of you and me

Who is this one I find in my heart?

I have met pieces of her

I have seen her

I have danced with her

In my dreams

What reasons have I to search?

She is here in silence

She is here screaming

She invites me to see her

She hides when I come close

Dante had Beatrice

Adam had Eve

Yet Walter has echoes

That haunt till he leaves

And so it goes

Every second of each day

Echoing throughout my soul

Reams of knowledge

Gathered in my quest

Knowing flowing

Heart still glowing

Yet all of this

Would be surrendered

In a blink of an eye

For but one smile and a kiss

What power she has

Perhaps it is a good thing

That she hides

For she knows

I would surrender these eyes

If she was my last sight

I would surrender these ears

If her voice was the last sound

I would surrender my heart

If she would have it

Such are the echoes

In this finite life

She may be God
