General Football

Scottish Junior Football Database

Promises to feature "detailed information on every Scottish Junior club", and looks set to be essential viewing for all fans of the Scottish non-league game, with a section of club, ground information and links on all the teams in each of  the Junior leagues. (11/5/99)

Supporters Guide to Scottish Junior Football

Ambitiously aiming to cover the entire Junior Football scene in Scotland, and like the above looks like pulling it off. This site is still growing, but already there's a club directory for all the regions, news and match reports, and a five season archive of league tables. Plus extras like the chatroom, and details of relevant links and publications. Neat, extremely well organised and easy to navigate. (15/6/99)

Guide to the Highland League

Whether you're a newcomer to the crazy world of Highland League football, or a veteran of many campaigns, this site is a useful resource for fans, with ground details and directions on all teams, plus photographs and diagrams on some.

Ayreshire Junior Football

Comprehensively covering the Junior game in Ayreshire, with the latest Stagecoach Western League results, league tables and fixtures, plus cup draws, archived league tables back to 1985 and a mailing list. Also, a seperate section on Largs Thistle, up-to-date, with mainly statistical information. (11/5/99)

Press & Journal Highland League

South of Scotland League

East of Scotland League

The Scottish non-league ranks receive virtually nil coverage in the UK national media, save for an occasional giant-killing in the Scottish Cup, but for those interested, Jamie Wire's sites on the South of Scotland League (aka the Scottish Southern Counties League), East of Scotland League and Highland League bring you the latest results and league tables, together with information on all the clubs, and links to those with their own sites.

Senior Clubs

Cove Rangers

A site well updated with the latest Highland League results and table, also snippets of news, supporters club info, and merchandise from the club shop. There's also some photos of Cove Rangers matches, showing some of the picturesque scenery Highland League fans can enjoy.

Edinburgh Athletic Official

Yer basic club information homepage on the East Of Scotland League club. (11/5/99)

Elgin City

One of your more well known Highland League clubs. This site has match reports taken from the local press and match programme, busy guestbook-cum-message board, and a photo gallery with some nice pictures.

Fraserburgh

This one has good, up-to-date match reports, comprehensive player pen pics and photos, and news of the reserves and youth team.

Nairn County

Playing in the Highland League (from whence came Caley Thistle and Ross County) this club apparently sell the best pies known to man. On this site you will find the usual results, club history and player details, together with brief match reports and news items from various sources. A truly multi-lingual site this - apart from the welcome in Gaelic, there are French, German and Italian versions of the site. Allez la "Wee County"! as they probably say in France.

Whitehill Welfare

One of the more famous Scottish non-league teams, who regularly qualify for the Scottish Cup, and play in the East of Scotland League. This site, as well as providing news and information on the first team - with club news, history and results, also features the ladies team.

Wick Academy

A basic page of information on the Highland League "Scorries", but doesn't appear to be updated any more.

Junior Clubs

Arthurlie FC

Arthurlie are one of the oldest clubs in Scottish Football (founded in 1874) and former members of the Scottish League, now playing in the Reebok Central League. More recently they were Scottish Junior Cup winners in 1998. Good site, with some nice pictures of the club's great moments past and present. Also a club history, latest news and a page on that Cup triumph.

Auckinleck Talbot

A club (from the Stagecoach Western League) with not one but seven registered supporters clubs, including ones in such unlikely places as Watford and Milton Keynes. Your general club info, plus a brief tour of the ground in pictures, and details of a fund to raise money for ground improvements. There's also a fans discussion forum.

Bankfoot Athletic

Well written and up-to-date news and good, detailed match reports, and the latest Tayside NCR League table. Player profiles including each player's nickname - so you can find out who "Shaggy", "Sumo" and "Pieman" are! This site is very nicely designed and easy to navigate, and now free of those annoying java applets.

Cruden Bay FC

"The future's bright, the future's purple" proclaims the opening page, and the lilac hue is not the only novel thing about this site. The club plays in the Scottish Junior FA Northern Region, but this site encompasses not just the first team but the kids teams as well  - with a page on everything from the Under-10's down to the Infants. On a more adult level, there's details of how you can buy shares in the club (yours for just £2.50 a week). There's also a guide to local hotels and tourist attractions, and some local information - Did you know that Bram Stroker's Dracula stories were inspired by the rugged landscape of Cruden Bay he experienced while on holiday there?? This site is well designed, and a fine example of how a football club can encompass a whole community.

Kilbirnie Ladeside

Busy news section, match reports, club history and the latest Stagecoach Western League table.

Linlithgow Rose

A team from the John Walker East Division, and their website has pretty much everything you need to know, including the usual club history and squad details, match reports from this season and classic games from the past, and league news. Interesting background design too, with all kind of burgandy swirls...nice.

Newburgh FC

Brief news, results and statistics on the Bardon Aggregates (Fife) League side.

Pollok FC - PollokNet

Straight outta the mean streets of Glasgow's South Side, come one of the giants of Scottish Junior Football. PollokNet brings you the latest news from the club plus results and tables from the Reebok Central League. Also, "Virtual Newlandsfield" - a photo-tour of the club's ground, extensive Scottish Non-League links, and as you'd expect from NLOTN's Scottish Correspondent, excellent, detailed match reports. (11/5/99)

Petershill FC

Small but well formed site on "the Peasy", another Reebok Central League side, with brief club history, the latest news, league table and results. Well updated.

Tayport FC  Star Site!

Site on one of the top names in Scottish Junior Football - that's "Junior "as in the Scottish equivalent of non-league soccer, not "junior" as in ten year olds! This site has everything you need to know about the club - news, results, player details and directions to the Canniepairt - their home ground. You'll also find links to info on other clubs, and junior football in general. The main page is beautifully laid out in newspaper-style columns, with updates and latest news clearly marked. It's also bang-up-to-date.  A hive of information, and a Star Site.
