History:

The petite desert feline was born and raised within the nomadic tribe of Sharie, a grouping of vagabonds that migrate to different parts of Nasmati, according to the moon phases. She grew up with normal parents, both a mother, and a father- and because she had no siblings to share their love with, she was often spoiled with things that some of the other kids couldn’t have. Because the tribe is not predominantly wealthy, Alani never obtained the “spoiled brat” attitude that most single children have. As opposed to most other children, she was also rather quiet and reserved, preferring to keep to herself, instead of playing and messing about. Despite her parent’s best efforts, they could not persuade the little girl to socialize with the others of her own age. However, her reclusive behavior seemed to fall away when she talked with others older than she.As Noealani grew older, this strange shyness gradually fell away altogether. When she hit about thirteen years of age, she communicated and interacted openly with others of her own age group, and came fully out of her shell, becoming a normal, social teenager. At age fifteen, she was inducted into an elite dancing troupe, which depicted, through movement, the story of the Three Angels- mythical divine creatures, which the desert folk believe protect the desert and its people. The Sharie have a yearly celebration, appraising the Three Angels. They prepare makeshift altars, and offer little donations, such as food, or small gifts, in honor of their guardians. The dance is supposed to be brought forth as a gift of entertainment for them, as three figurines representing the Angels sit and “watch”.

At age sixteen, Noealani decided that the desert nomad life wasn’t cut out for her. She had grown into a rather free spirit, much liking to see new places and things, and meet different people. She had only read about the other areas of Mobius through some books her family owned, until then- and henceforth decided to leave her home, and go off by herself, in search for a new, different life.

Disposition:

The young feline displays, more often than not, a rather cheerful and outgoing nature. She is a naturally sunny person, with an infectious, pretty smile, and an optimistic outlook on things. She has a rather short fuse however, and a hot, explosive temper. This is often brought on by things or people that annoy her far too much, or anyone that hurts her or any of her friends. She’s fiercely loyal to those she loves and cares for- comparatively, also having no qualms with telling someone she dislikes exactly what she thinks of them. Alani also tends to fall into bouts of depression, whenever she feels as if she is not up to standard with those stronger than her. She often belittles herself because of this, and blames herself for most misfortunes that happen to befall on those around her.
