You can use our automated password lookup if you know
your account name. If you do not know your account name, please contact support@webpost.net.
What material can be used with these free services?
No adult material or links to adult material are allowed. Also no
material that would be considered illegal or controversial in any land is allowed.
If you are caught using any of The Web Post Network's services in this manner, your
account will be terminated immediately. However, you can use your Web Post Network web site
for personal use or for business purposes.

How do I sign up?
Just click here and answer a few simple questions.
All of the services are accessible by using one account. Instructions will be e-mailed back to you
after you complete the sign up form.
How do I run my own ads and banners?
First login to your account. Then click on
Edit Ads / Check Stats. Instructions will come up on how to add your own ads to the rotation system.
All ads should be 365w x 65h (pixels) and less than 13k (12,288 bytes) in size. If you do not have a banner,
we can create one for you.
How do I transfer (upload) files to my web site?
Login to your account and click on
Transfer Files To Your Web Site. You must be using Netscape
Navigator 3+ or Microsoft Internet Explorer 4+ for the transfer (uploading)
to work. You can also transfer files from other web sites from there.
At this time we do not offer ftp for our free web sites.
How do I get more space for my web site and other services?
If you need more options, features, and space that your free web site
doesn't have, then consider our Deluxe Upgrade Service.
Usually within 24 hours we will upgrade your account.
How do I prevent the banners from displaying on my web site?
We can only offer these services free of charge because advertisers
pay for the usage. However, if you choose our Deluxe Upgrade Service, then
the banners will not be displayed on your web site.
Why does my web site keep asking for a username and password?
In the File Manager, you supplied a password to protect a certain directory on your
web site from being accessed. You must login to your account, go to the File Manager, and remove the password
from that directory.
Why does it say I need to pay for my BillBoard Ad?
When you place an ad on the BillBoards, you are not required to purchase it.
However, all purchased BillBoards are displayed randomly before any non-purchased BillBoards.
This enables you to be seen faster, and possibly gain more hits to your web site!
Where do I find the codes to add these services to my current web site?
If you need to add your guestbook, forums, or any of our other services
to your existing web site, then login to your account
and click on Display My HTML Codes. From there you can copy and paste the codes
to your web site pages.
How do I copy and paste the codes?
If you're on a Windows based machine, here are a few steps:
When I go to my web site, it says FILE NOT FOUND
This means that you did not create a web page or transfer (upload) that
page to your Web Post Network web site. You will need to login
to your account and click on one of the Create A Web Page links or click on
Transfer Files To Your Web Site.
My pictures won't display on my web site!
First, make sure you did transfer (upload) them to your web site.
You can check when you login to your account, and click on File Manager.
If your picture file (JPG, GIF, BMP, etc...) is there, make sure the capitalization is correct.
If your site has a file named PICTURE.JPG the file called from your web page must have the same
capitalization. So in other words, picture.jpg is not the same file. You can rename the file
using the File Manager. If the file is not there, login to your account,
and click on Transfer Files To Your Web Site.
How do I get a page to display automatically when I type in my web site address?
Any page that you want displayed by just typing in your web site address (URL) name that
one page index.html -- this tells The Web Post Network to display this file first.
How do I delete/rename files and make/delete directories?
Simple! Just login to your account and click on File Manager.
All files that are on your Web Post Network web site will be displayed. Instructions are there on
how to delete files, rename files, and make or delete entire directories.
Can I run my own programs in a cgi-bin directory?
Our free web sites do not have access to cgi-bin services, and therefore you cannot
run your own scripts and programs. We provide many features that people need already,
such as Guestbooks, Forums, Banner Advertising, and more. If you need access to a
cgi-bin directory, you can get your own domain name with our Virtual Hosting options.
Can I have my forms e-mailed to me?
Yes you can! If you're using our free web site service, this feature will work.
You will not be able to use this feature on non-Web Post Network web sites.
You can get the code to do this when you login
to your account and click on Display My HTML Codes.
Does the shopping cart service use a secure server?
Yes. When a customer enters their credit card information
they will be entering it in a secure environment, and it will be submitted to the secure server. This
makes it virtually impossible for someone to steal the card information since it is encrypted during transmission.
Does the shopping cart process credit cards?
Our shopping cart software will only verify that a credit card is valid.
It does not verify if the card has sufficient funds, or is stolen. You must have your own merchant account
in order to process the payment. Please e-mail us and we can assist you with setting up a merchant account.
Does the shopping cart notify me of orders?
Yes. Each time you receive an order, you will be notified via e-mail.
You can, and should, login to your account daily to view all orders, just in case an e-mail did not reach you
for some reason. All orders are assigned a unique tracking number, and at any time you can see what was ordered.
